When it comes to sailing schools, the Valencian
community counts with close to a hundred schools. The practicality of
the nautical clubs scattered accross the three Valencian provinces counts
with a countless number of private schools, holiday clubs and nautical
schools. All of them offering courses at reasonable prices.
The Royal Nautical school of Valencia has
initiation courses available from small sailing boats to large motor
yachts. For small sailing boats, the couse which entails twenty hours
split over 4 days costs approx. 45€ as it is subsidised by the
ministry of sport. For larger vessels the cost is approx. 55€ which
has also been subsidised.
