Houses for sale in Cuenca and Teruel amongst
the "Montes Universales"
There is an area known as the Universal Mountains ("Montes Universales")
which separates Valencia from its neighbours and which to this day remains
very traditionally Spanish both in its ways and also in its prices.
If you are looking to buy an Inland resale Valencia property within
this very relaxing and beautiful mountain range you can buy a rural
property in Spain within Towns and Villages in Cuenca and Teruel which
are described in a little more detail below.
Finally because most of these properties will need refurbishing, we would certainly advise you to use local builders to do the work as they will provide you with extremely competitive quotes. If you require we can obtain quotes for you and liaise with them in order to aid you once your purchase has been completed. As you can imagine we cannot Project Manage a Refurbishment but we will endeavour to provide a high level of service to help YOU. Also in order to help you understand the cost of refurbishing you can use the approximate figure of 500-600 per square meter as an indication of the price of a new construction project
Please note that we have used a Central Location
for both Cuenca and Teruel for the map, and you should zoom out when redirected
to the map to see the best view.

CUENCA: The town of Cuenca is set amidst a beautiful
rugged landscape consisting of spectacular gorges between two large
rivers. The old town is famous for its medieval landscape and especially
for its 15th century hanging houses (Casas Colgadas). The architecture
of the town is believed to have inspired some of the earliest versions
of cubism, which can be seen in the Museum of Abstract Art. Prices in
cuenca are still very reasonable and therefore it is an ideal place
to buy cheap spanish properties.
TERUEL: In spite of its stunning natural beauty, this
Aragonese province is one of the least known in Spain. Without a doubt,
in Teruel you will find important historic monuments such as the cathedral,
the Portal de la Traiciσn and the aqueduct, el Acueducto de los Arcos. A
good time to visit Teruel is February 14, when you can see the fairy-tale-like
festival commemorating lovers in Teruel.
